Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Qusai Alahmadee/ president of Mosul University and the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Yasameen Abdulkareem/ dean of the college held its symposium entitled (archaeology and heritage of Mosul city … challenges and horizon of the future). The symposium started with a welcoming note from the dean of the college followed by two lectures: the first one is entitled (challenges that faces the cultural museum of Mosul) delivered by Mr. zaid ghazi the manger of Mosul museum. The second lecture is entitled the reality of archaeology in Mosul and the effects of corona virus delivered by Mr. Saad ahmed the official employee of reparations and conservation at the state board. At the end of symposium, a number of questions and comments were said by the participants to the two lecturers
