University Psychological Counseling Department

This is an administrative and academic department within educational institutions, including universities, dedicated to providing psychological and educational support to students. This department aims to address problems that may hinder academic achievement or social adjustment, and works to guide students toward positive behavior and academic success.

Its main tasks:

• Monitoring students’ psychological and behavioral conditions and helping them overcome difficulties.
• Providing individual and group counseling to deal with academic or social pressures.
• Raising students’ awareness of the importance of mental health and its impact on academic achievement.
• Contributing to the development of personal and social skills and enhancing self-confidence.
• Coordinating with faculty to address behavioral or educational problems.
• Holding lectures and workshops on psychological counseling and educational guidance.

Thus, the department is a fundamental pillar of the educational process, working to create a safe and sound learning environment that helps students achieve integrated psychological and educational growth.
