PHD dissertation at the Department of History on the position of political parties on the internal political developments in Morocco 1992-2007

The Department of History held a viva for a thesis entitled “The Position of Political Parties on the Internal Political Developments in Morocco 1992-2007,” on (Thursday) October 28, 2021 at the Faculty of Arts Hall.The thesis submitted by the student (Abdul-Wahhab Ahmed Mahmoud Al-Khazraji) in the History Department, dealt with the positions of the Moroccan parties on the political, constitutional and security developments that Morocco witnessed in its contemporary history during the illustrated period between 1992-2007.The study touched on the most important changes that the country witnessed during the reign of King Hassan II and during the reign of King Mohammed VI. It also showed the position of the political parties on the issue of the Sahara and the political participation of Moroccan women in the Moroccan political scene.The study aimed to clarify the political, security and constitutional developments in Morocco and the positions of the Moroccan parties for the period from 1992-2007, in addition to shedding light on the most important variables.The viva committee was chaired by Prof. Zakir Mohi Al-Din Abdullah, with the membership of Prof. Dr. Muayyad Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani from Tikrit University, Prof. Dr. Saad Tawfiq Aziz as a member, Assistant Professor Dr. Safwan Nazem Al-Banna and Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Mahdi Khalil from the College of Education for Human Sciences in Mosul University, under the supervision and membership of Assistant Professor Manhal Ismail Al-Ali Bey.
