College of Arts

The College of Arts/ University of Mosul hosted on May 12, 2022, the periodic meeting of the Iraqi Colleges of Arts and Languages to discuss the current education conditions and means of improvement. The President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Qusai Kamaldeen Al-Ahmadi, attended part of the meeting. The president welcomed the attendees and celebrated the outstanding efforts that were exerted during this productive meeting. Moreover, Professor Al-Ahmadi reflected on the important role of the University of Mosul in the academic progress in Iraq. He also highlighted the scientific contributions of the university especially after its rise from the ashes following ISIS occupation.The meeting that was led by the head of the committee of the deans of the Colleges of Arts, Prof. Dr. Salih Kadhim Aajeel Al-Juboori, discussed several scientific topics on the agenda such as improving the teaching process, developing the plans set by the Iraqi colleges of Arts and languages, and following up on the goals achieved so far. The goal is to work together to promote the scientific course of the Iraqi universities to reach a recognized international status.Furthermore, the meeting discussed improving higher education and the application of undergraduate curriculum.
