A Workshop on Narcotics and Electronic Extortion
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Kossay Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmedy, President of the University of Mosul and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mohammad Ali Mohammad Afeen, the dean of the College of Arts, the National Center for Human Rights, in cooperation with the Unit for Continuing Education at the college, two workshops were held on narcotics, psychotropic substances, causes, and ways of treatment.
Both workshops tackled habits that are strange to society, i.e., narcotics and electronic extortion. They also investigate ways to solve these harmful things or get rid of them with the help of legal support. The workshops evaluated the role of educated people and the clergy in raising awareness among the people against them.
The following people delivered lectures:
1: Dr. Jamail Abdullah Al-Mukhtar (Director of the National Center for Human Rights, Ninawa branch).
2: Sa’ad Yahya Al-Khatuni (lawyer and the above-mentioned legal adviser).
3: Abdullah Mohammad Al-Jibury (responsible for follow-up and monitoring of the center)
