College of Arts

The Ministerial Subcommittee at the Presidency of the University of Mosul organized a meeting with professors at the College of Arts, who in the past obtained scholarships to continue their higher education. The meeting focused on making the most of those teachers and their expertise. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim Hamoud, member of the liaison committee of the Ministerial Committee at the College of Arts, and was attended by Prof. Dr. Harith Hazem Ayoub, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs.

During the meeting, they discussed how to benefit from the college professors and those who hold master’s and doctoral degrees from reputable international universities to develop the college in multiple fields and submitting proposals for projects to develop the ministry or the university in three ways, which are:

1-Developing scientific and academic research.

2-The possibility of communicating with their former universities to hold joint workshops, conferences, and joint supervision in support of serving the scientific movement in the College of Arts.

3-Focus on the practical aspect by making use of their expertise practically to serve the community.

At the end of the meeting, some important recommendations were come up with to achieve the desired goals and submitted them to the ministerial subcommittee at the University of Mosul and then submitted them to the main committee in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to be approved in order to implement them to improve scientific research and academic performance at our university.
