M.A. Thesis in the College of Arts about Prince Abu Kalijār Imad al-Deen al-Marzban and his political and cultural role in the Buyid era 415-440 A.H. /1024-1048 A.D.
The Dept. of History / College of Arts / University of Mosul discussed an M.A. thesis entitled ‘Prince Abu Kalijar Imad al-Deen al-Marzban and his political and cultural role in the Buyid era 415-440 A.H. /1024-1048 A.D.’ on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, which was partly attended by the Dean of the College of Arts, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali Afin and a number of college teachers and postgraduate students.
The thesis submitted by Heba Mahmoud Ahmed dealt with highlighting the political and cultural aspects of the Buyid era, especially during the reign of Prince Abu Kalijar.
The study aimed to know the Buyid personalities, especially Prince Abu Kalijar Al-Buyhi, from his biography and the internal and external conditions of his emirate.
