A Master’s thesis at the College of Arts, University of Mosul on: (Digital Culture and its Reflections on the Reality of the Iraqi Family – A Field Study in the City of Tikrit).
The Department of Sociology at the College of Arts, University of Mosul, discussed the master’s thesis entitled: (Digital Culture and its Reflections on the Reality of the Iraqi Family – A Field Study in the City of Tikrit), on Monday, October 21st,2024 with the attendance of a number of department lecturers and postgraduate students. The thesis, submitted by Raad Dakhel Awad, dealt with the topic of digital culture and its effects and reflections on the reality of the Iraqi family. Iraqi society has witnessed many transformations influenced by the widespread, accelerating and increasing use of digital culture at various levels and individual levels and the level of social classes, including the Iraqi family. This use has contributed to the creation of many new behavioral patterns alien to the Iraqi family. In addition to its clear impact on the system of values, customs and traditions. Social interaction and other traditional methods have transformed into interaction through digital culture techniques and methods that have entered the most delicate joints of our social life. The researcher chose the city of Tikrit as a spatial area to conduct his study.
