College of Arts

Within the activities of the College of Arts, the Media Branch and the Governmental Communication in the college, in cooperation with the Department of Arabic Language and the Continuing Education Unit, held a lecture titled “A Media Person’s Experience” on December 25, 2024. The lecture was delivered by Farqad Malku, who shared her accumulated knowledge and experience in working for radio and television stations, particularly her program “Nasamat min biladi ila um alrabi’in” (Breezes from My Country to Mother of Two Spring). She also discussed the important stages of her media career and how it has influenced current media work and the students of the Department of Media. The lecture was attended by Prof. Dr. Mohammed Ali Mohamed Afeen, the dean of the college, as well as many professors and students.
