Master’s Thesis in the English Department:”Nominalization in Political TV Interviews: A Discoursal Analysis”

On Monday, December 30, 2024, the English Department at the College of Arts, University of Mosul, held a discussion for a master’s thesis titled “Nominalization in Political TV Interviews: A Discoursal Analysis.”

The thesis, presented by Ibrahim Khalaf Mutlak, focused on nominalization in British and American political interviews. It analyzed the ideological use of nominalization by politicians and clarified its intended purposes.

The study aimed to explore the different strategies employed in nominalization and highlight its role in shaping ideology among the audience.
