College of Arts

Under the patronage of the President of Mosul University, Professor Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Arts, Professor Muhammad Afein, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Division at the College of Arts organized a training course titled ‘Historical Knowledge and Its Relation to Social Studies.’ The course lasted for five days, from April 13 to April 17, 2025, and was divided into five key themes.

On the first and second days, Dr. Shalal Hamid Suleiman and Dr. Iman Hamadi Rajab provided explanations and clarifications on the relationship between sociology and history. On the third day, Dr. Saja Qahtan and Dr. Muhammad Walid discussed and elaborated on the concept of social history. On the fourth day, Dr. Mahmoud Saleh Saeed addressed research topics in sociology, while on the final day, Lecturer Omar Duraid presented practical examples for studying social history.
