Ph.D. Dissertation on “Corruption Indicators and Their Relationship to Work Ethics – A Field Study in the City of Mosul”

The Department of Sociology at the College of Arts discussed a Ph.D. dissertation titled
“Corruption Indicators and Their Relationship to Work Ethics – A Field Study in the City of Mosul” on Wednesday, April 30, 2025.
The session was attended in part by Professor Dr. Hatim Fahd Al-Tai, Dean of the College, along with several faculty members.
The study, submitted by doctoral candidate Abdul Qader Ismail Khalil from the Department of Sociology, focused on the issue of corruption and its connection to work ethics. The topic was highlighted as critical due to its deep impact on social life, and the study aimed to shed light on the importance of addressing its various dimensions.
Objectives of the Study:
To explore the concept, characteristics, and types of corruption
To clarify the nature of work ethics and social responsibility
