Scientific Cooperation
As part of efforts to enhance scientific and intellectual collaboration, Dr. Wasan Sami Saadallah, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Information and Knowledge Technologies, received Mr. Hassanain Al-Mousawi, representative of the Center for Indexing and Information Systems affiliated with the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine, on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, to discuss opportunities for joint cooperation between the department and the shrine.
During the meeting, mechanisms for collaboration were discussed, including the exchange of expertise, the organization of training courses and workshops, participation in scientific conferences, and the development of joint research projects that contribute to the advancement of knowledge and serve the community.
Dr. Wasan, Head of the Department, emphasized the importance of this visit in strengthening ties between academic and religious institutions, highlighting the mutual scientific and cultural benefits. She expressed her hope for further fruitful cooperation in the future.
