College of Arts

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Arts, Professor Dr. Hatem Fahad Al-Tai, the Career Development Unit at the College of Arts hosted the “Legal Arms” volunteer team, led by Professor Dr. Mohammed Siddiq Mohammed, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs at the College of Law. The purpose of this event was to introduce first-year students at the College of Arts to the team’s educational awareness program.

The program aims to educate students about the University Student Disciplinary Law, in addition to other awareness initiatives concerning general student rights. The workshop specifically focused on the importance of disseminating legal awareness among university students, highlighting key areas such as the dangers of narcotics and an overview of the Narcotics Law No. 50 of 2017 and the Penal Code No. 111 of 1969. Furthermore, it addressed legal articles within the Penal Code that deal with instances of bullying, domestic violence, and electronic extortion, as well as the legal procedures for avoiding such situations.
