The Sub-Committee for Promotions at the College of Arts, chaired by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Hatem Fahad Al-Tai, convened a scholarly workshop on the morning of Sunday, May 18, 2025. The workshop, titled “Utilizing the Electronic Portal for Applying for Academic Promotion,” featured a presentation by Professor Dr. Luqman Abdul Karim Nasser, a member of the Central Promotions Committee.

The workshop provided a detailed explanation of all aspects of the electronic portal, commencing with the promotion applicant, followed by the Head of Department and the authorized personnel for sub-promotions who will upload the case to the Central Committee. The Central Committee will then review the case, culminating in the issuance of the university promotion order. The workshop was attended by a number of Heads of Departments, Heads of Scientific Committees, and several faculty members applying for promotion.
