Mr. Mohammed Waleed As’ad, an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Translation at the College of Arts, has published a new literary work: a novel titled “Marigold: Ashes and Madness.” The book was released by Noon Publishing House in collaboration with Nergil Press.

Comprising nine chapters, the novel delves into the life of an English family residing in the English countryside during the 16th century (the Tudor period). It highlights significant events faced by the Baker family across three generations, alongside the accompanying social, religious, and political transformations. This novel represents a notable addition to the literary and cultural landscape, presented in a contemporary narrative style.
