College of Arts

The President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, attended the College of Arts Council meeting held today, June 19, 2025. He was welcomed by the Dean of the College of Arts, Professor Dr. Hatem Fahd Al-Tai, along with the Scientific and Administrative Assistants.

During the meeting, the University President listened to a brief presentation on the College’s key scientific and academic activities, as well as strategies for enhancing the standards of education and scientific research.

In his address, the University President emphasized the importance of elevating the university’s standing in global rankings. He urged faculty members to redouble their efforts in publishing research in reputable international scientific databases and to leverage available resources to bolster scientific research initiatives at the university.

He also commended the dedicated efforts of the College’s Deanship and staff, praising the academic advancements witnessed by the College. He affirmed the University Presidency’s full support for initiatives that contribute to raising the level of scientific and research performance.
