The Dean of the College of Arts, Professor Dr. Hatem Fahad Al-Tai, recently visited the college’s Media Department to oversee the ongoing renovation of its news studio. The visit aimed to assess the latest progress in upgrading the infrastructure and technologies used for practical training of the department’s students.

Dr. Al-Tai toured the studio, where he received a detailed explanation from the technical staff regarding the renovation phases and the new equipment being installed. He reiterated the Dean’s office’s unwavering support for developing technical capabilities that are crucial for honing the practical skills of media students, preparing them to enter the media job market with professionalism and efficiency.

Furthermore, the Dean attended a meeting of the Media Department’s Scientific Committee. During the meeting, he discussed various scientific and academic issues with the committee members, emphasizing the importance of bolstering scientific research and developing curricula to align with modern advancements in media and communication. This, he stressed, is essential for keeping pace with the demands of the contemporary media era.
