Master’s Thesis on “The Opening and Concluding Sections of the Qasida in the Poetry of Manjak Pasha (d. 1080 AH)”
The Department of Arabic Language at the College of Arts discussed a Master’s thesis titled “The Opening and Concluding Sections of the poem in the Poetry of Manjak Pasha (d. 1080 AH)” on Wednesday, July 2, 2025. The session was attended by Professor Dr. Hatem Fahd Al-Tai, Dean of the College, Dr. Ahmed Saleh Younis, Head of the Department, and several faculty members.
The study, submitted by student Noura Ihsan Hashim Al-Hamdani in the Department of Arabic Language, analyzed the poetic texts of the poet Manjak Pasha. The thesis aimed to elucidate the aesthetic and artistic aspects of the introductions and conclusions in Manjak Pasha’s poems.
