Master’s Thesis on “The Crimean Peninsula Between the 3rd AH/9th CE and 9th AH/15th CE Centuries”

On Tuesday, July 9, 2025, the Department of History at the College of Arts discussed a Master’s thesis titled “The Crimean Peninsula Between the 3rd AH/9th CE and 9th AH/15th CE Centuries.” The session was attended by Professor Dr. Hatem Fahd Al-Tai, Dean of the College, Dr. Mahmoud Saleh Saeed, Head of the Department, and several faculty members.

The study, submitted by student Khalil Ibrahim Mohammed Hussein in the Department of History, explored the geographical, historical, economic, and religious aspects of the Crimean Peninsula. The thesis aimed to highlight the region of Crimea geographically, historically, economically, and religiously, as it played a significant role in an important era of Islamic history.
