Parliamentary Education Committee Head Visits University of Mosul’s College of Arts
On Wednesday, July 23, 2025, the College of Arts at the University of Mosul welcomed Dr. Muzahim Al-Khayat, Member of Parliament and Head of the Parliamentary Education Committee in the Iraqi Council of Representatives. He was accompanied by Dr. Aqeel Al-Araji, Assistant President of Al-Hamdaniya University for Administrative Affairs, and Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul.
The delegation was greeted by Professor Dr. Hatem Fahd Al-Tai, Dean of the College of Arts, and several members of the college council. During their meeting, attendees discussed ways to support the educational process and enhance academic performance within the college.
Following the meeting, the Head of the Parliamentary Education Committee attended a portion of a PhD dissertation defense in the History Department. This participation underscored his commitment to supporting scientific research and encouraging postgraduate studies in Iraqi universities.
