Prime Minister’s Advisor, Dr. Mohammed Iqbal Al-Saidalani, Visits College of Arts and Attends PhD Defense
Dr. Mohammed Iqbal Al-Saidalani, Advisor to the Prime Minister, visited the College of Arts at the University of Mosul. He was welcomed by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Hatem Fahd Al-Tai, and several faculty members.
During the visit, discussions focused on various academic issues, the enhancement of the educational process, challenges facing university institutions, and methods to bolster the research environment at the university.
Dr. Al-Saidalani also attended part of a PhD thesis defense in the History Department, titled “Trends in Andalusian Studies in Spanish Orientalism.” He commended the topic’s significance and its role in deepening academic understanding of cultural and civilizational relations between East and West.
This visit underscores the commitment to fostering communication between academic expertise and decision-makers to advance the educational and research landscape in Iraq.
