College Council holds its 24th session to discuss developmental and academic issues.

The Council of the College of Arts at the University of Mosul held its 24th session today, Wednesday, August 6, 2025, chaired by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Hatem Fahd Al-Tai, with the presence of the heads of departments and council members.

During the meeting, the council discussed several important items on its agenda, focusing on administrative, scientific, and developmental aspects. The council emphasized the need to complete work on the Human Resources (HR) and Student Information Systems (SIS), highlighting their effective role in organizing data and improving the quality of institutional performance.

The session also included a discussion on the mechanism for forming specialized research teams in all college departments to enhance scientific activity and raise the level of academic research. The council stressed the importance of linking research topics to the Sustainable Development Goals to ensure they have the desired societal impact.

Furthermore, the council emphasized the importance of expanding scientific and academic cooperation with other universities, both inside and outside Iraq, by organizing joint academic events that contribute to the exchange of expertise and enhance the quality of education.
