College of Arts participates in the commemoration of the Arba’een of Imam Hussein’s martyrdom.
In line with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and with the direct guidance and follow-up from the presidency of the University of Mosul, the College of Arts participated in the activities to commemorate the Arba’een of Imam Hussein’s martyrdom. This participation embodies the values of sacrifice, justice, and loyalty to the path of the Prophet’s Household.
The college confirmed that its participation stems from the belief that Imam Hussein was not merely a historical figure but an eternal symbol for every oppressed person and a timeless voice demanding truth and standing against injustice and deviation.
In this context, the college’s deanship explained that the Arba’een pilgrimage is not merely a march of bodies but a march of hearts and souls 
toward the supreme principles and values championed by the Imam. They emphasized the importance of drawing inspiration from these meanings in both academic and human life.
