Master’s Thesis Title: “The Marginal Employment of Graduates and Its Social Repercussions: A Field Study in Salah al-Din Governorate.”

The Department of Sociology at the College of Arts held a master’s thesis defense on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. The thesis, titled “The Marginal Employment of Graduates and Its Social Repercussions: A Field Study in Salah al-Din Governorate,” was attended by Professor Dr. Hatem Fahd Al-Taie, the Dean of the College, along with several faculty members.

The study, presented by postgraduate student Hadher Mohsin Hammoud, investigated the social, economic, political, and psychological factors affecting the lives of graduates.


 

Thesis Objectives

 

The primary objective of the thesis was to identify the key socio-economic factors that compel graduates to engage in marginal employment.
