Faculty Member Participates in Master’s Thesis Defense at Tikrit University
Dr. Osama Misbah Al-Hamdani, the secretary of the College of Arts Council, served as a committee member for a master’s thesis defense at Tikrit University’s College of Arts, Department of Translation. The thesis, submitted by student Murtada Hassan Obaid, was titled “AI-Powered Translation of English News Reports into Arabic.” The defense was held on Thursday, August 28, 2025.
The examining committee was composed of:
- Dr. Shifaa Hadi Hussein (Chairperson)
- Dr. Osama Misbah Al-Hamdani (Member)
- Dr. Rudaina Mohammed Badaa (Member)
- Dr. Mahmoud Ibrahim Hamdan (Supervisor)
This participation is part of the ongoing academic collaboration between Iraqi universities, aimed at enhancing the exchange of expertise in postgraduate studies.
