Head of Media Department at College of Arts Chairs Ministerial Committee for Academic Evaluation
The head of the Media Department at the College of Arts, Professor Dr. Jassim Mohammed Khudair, chaired the ministerial committee tasked with evaluating the academic and scientific standing of the College of Media at Kirkuk University. The committee members included Assistant Professor Dr. Abdul Razzaq Saleh Mahmoud, Mr. Mohammed Samir Ali, and Mr. Yahya Muwaffaq Yahya.
On Thursday, August 28, 2025, the committee visited the College of Media, where they were received by the Dean, Professor Dr. Ma’ad Asi Ali. During the visit, the committee assessed various evaluation axes, including infrastructure, academic and administrative staff, students, classrooms, laboratories, libraries, and modern educational resources. They also reviewed student activities, service facilities, e-services, health services, and requirements for safety, security, environment, and green spaces.
The committee also reviewed the college’s progress on its scientific plan, including workshops, seminars, continuing education courses, quality assurance programs, and examination protocols. At the conclusion of the visit, the committee expressed its satisfaction with the advanced academic and scientific achievements of the college, which reflect its commitment to rigorous academic standards.
