Department of History Kicks Off New Academic Year with Organizational Meeting
The Department of History at the College of Arts, University of Mosul, began the new academic year with an organizational meeting chaired by Professor Dr. Mahmoud Saleh Saeed. He conveyed the Dean’s directives regarding the final preparations for the start of the academic year.
The directives included a focus on forming the main and sub-committees within the department and distributing course materials to faculty members to ensure a smooth educational process. Professors were also encouraged to publish in reputable international journals and the college’s own journal, “Adab Al-Rafidain.”
The meeting also emphasized the importance of opening new avenues for academic cooperation with history departments in other colleges and universities. This collaboration is seen as a way to enhance the department’s academic presence and keep pace with the latest developments in historical research.
