Workshop on the Fundamentals of Ottoman Turkish
Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Arts, Professor Dr. Hatem Fahd Hano Al-Tai, the Department of History, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit, organized a workshop titled “Fundamentals of Ottoman Turkish.” The workshop was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Shaima Emad Yahya from the Department of Turkish Language at the College of Arts, while the sessions were chaired by the Head of the Department of History, Professor Dr. Mahmoud Saleh Saeed.
The three-day workshop, held from September 15 to 17, 2025, was attended by faculty members and postgraduate students from the college. It served as a valuable opportunity to enrich knowledge and enhance research skills in this important historical field.
