Recognition for a Faculty Member from the College of Arts

Professor Dr. Ahmed Jarallah, a faculty member in the Department of Arabic Language at the College of Arts, has received a Letter of Appreciation and Gratitude from the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi. This recognition is in acknowledgement of his distinguished efforts in chairing the Jury Committee for the Short Story Competition. The competition focused on documenting the suffering of the people of Nineveh during the occupation of the city by dark terrorism.

This commendation was presented as part of the University of Mosul’s celebrations for the Iraqi National Day, which also included the announcement of the literary competition results. The initiative underscores the value of literature in documenting the national memory and fostering a sense of belonging.
