French Dept. Tour the University of Mosul Central Library
In a strategic effort to enhance academic cooperation and broaden the scope of knowledge across the colleges and administrations of the University of Mosul, the Head of the French Language Department at the College of Arts, Assistant Professor Ahmed Amin Tawfiq, along with several male and female faculty members, organized an academic field visit to the Central Library on October 8, 2025. Third-year students from the department participated in the visit.
The visit featured a comprehensive introductory tour, during which students were acquainted with the library’s various sections and the services it offers to researchers. Furthermore, they were introduced to the recent technological upgrades, such as the deployment of robotics and electronic borrowing devices. This provided the students with a close look at modern research mechanisms and methods for utilising digital and scholarly resources.
