The Arts Participates in the “My School” Initiative to Support Orphaned and Needy Female Students
In alignment with the “My School” (Madrasti) initiative launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, the College of Arts organized a humanitarian volunteer campaign. Supervised by the Dean, Professor Dr. Hatem Fahd Hano Al-Taie, this campaign embodied a spirit of generosity and social responsibility.
A college delegation visited the Abad Al-Rahman Girls’ School, where they distributed school bags and stationery to orphaned and disadvantaged female students in an atmosphere filled with warmth and joy.
The initiative was warmly welcomed by the school administration, which appreciated the human compassion it conveyed and its noble educational message, confirming that education is fundamentally a mission of giving before it is a path to knowledge.
