College of Arts

The Human Rights and Continuing Education Unit at the College of Arts, University of Mosul, in collaboration with the Human Rights Division of the University Presidency, hosted a workshop titled “Functions of the Human Rights Unit.” The workshop focused on the key roles and responsibilities assigned to the Unit in raising awareness of human rights within the university community.

The speakers at the workshop were Dr. Sa’eed Khdida Qolo, Head of the Human Rights Division at the University of Mosul Presidency, and Dr. Mashal Abdul-Ilah Thahir, Head of the Human Rights Unit at the College of Arts. They provided a detailed presentation on the Unit’s importance in fostering a culture of human rights and instilling values of tolerance and positive coexistence among the University’s students and staff.
