Faculty Member Chairs Thesis Defense at the University of Zakho
Professor Dr. Muhammad Salim Saadullah from the Department of Arabic Language at the College of Arts chaired the examinning committee for a Master’s thesis at the College of Basic Education, University of Zakho, on Saturday, October 25, 2025.
The thesis, presented by student Israa Fawzi Ahmed, was titled “Discourse Patterns in the Poetry of Nizar Qabbani.” The defense featured a rich academic dialogue characterized by methodology and academic precision. Following an objective scientific evaluation, the student was awarded a Master’s degree with a very good grade. This participation is part of a series of academic activities through which the faculty members of the College of Arts continue to enhance their academic presence in Iraqi universities, support the progress of scientific research, and promote the exchange of expertise among educational institutions.
