University of Mosul Faculty Member Participates in Master’s Thesis Defense at Al-Qadisiyah University
Assistant Professor Dr. Safwan Nadhim Dawood, Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs at the College of Arts, participated as a member of the examining committee for the Master’s thesis titled: “The Armenian Gregorian Church in Iraq, its Religious Role, and its Public Impact (1636–2003)”.
The thesis was submitted by the student Jabbar Hamid Jabbar to the College of Education at Al-Qadisiyah University.
The defense took place on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, and featured a fruitful scholarly discussion marked by academic depth and precision. The committee members provided valuable academic feedback that enriched the thesis. At the conclusion of the defense, the committee decided to award the student a Master’s degree with a “Very Good” grade.
This participation underscores the College of Arts at the University of Mosul’s commitment to strengthening scientific cooperation and communication with other Iraqi universities. This effort aims to facilitate the exchange of academic expertise and advance scientific research in the field of humanities.
