College of Arts Workshop on Early Detection for University Mental Health Support
The University Psychological Guidance Unit at the College of Arts organized a specialized training workshop titled “Early Detection of Students.” The course spanned two days, October 29 and 30, and saw the participation of a number of students and members of the College’s Guidance Committee.
The workshop’s key topics were delivered by Professor Dr. Hassan Jasim Rashid, Dr. Ibtihal Abdul-Jawad, Dr. Basima Faris, and Dr. Mohammed Thanoon Zeeno. Their presentations addressed the most prominent modern methods for identifying students’ psychological and behavioral issues in their early stages. They also discussed mechanisms for effective guidance intervention within the university setting.
