Ministerial Meeting on Integrating Artificial Intelligence into Postgraduate Curricula
Professor Dr. Hatem Fahad Hannou Al-Taie, Dean of the College of Arts – University of Mosul, attended a meeting at the Research and Development Directorate of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on the morning of Wednesday, October 29, 2025. The meeting was also attended by the Deans of the Colleges of Arts from the Universities of Mosul, Babylon, and Al-Mustansiriya.
The discussion focused on the mechanism for implementing the recommendations put forth by the Development Department concerning the adoption of smart and blended learning methodologies. A central point of the agenda was the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) modules into the curricula for postgraduate students. This initiative aims to enhance their academic and technical competencies, thereby enabling them to effectively utilize AI technologies in educational and scientific research environments.
