Sociology Department Workshop: International Terrorism in a Changing World
The Department of Sociology at the College of Arts organized a workshop titled “International Terrorism in a Changing World – A Sociological Perspective” on Tuesday, October 28, 2025. The workshop addressed the social, political, and intellectual transformations associated with the phenomenon of international terrorism, focusing specifically on its sociological dimensions amidst current global variables.
The workshop was presented by Professor Dr. Hamdan Ramadhan Mohammed and Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Thanoon Zeeno. It was attended by a number of the department’s faculty members and postgraduate students.
