Head of Translation Department Joins Doctoral Dissertation Defense Committee at the University of Bucharest
In the framework of strengthening the bonds of scientific and academic cooperation between the University of Mosul and universities around the world, Dr. Hala Khalid Najm, Head of the Translation Department, electronically participated in the defense committee for a Doctoral dissertation in Comparative Linguistics at the University of Bucharest on Thursday, November 6, 2025.
The committee was composed of:
- Professor Dr. Oana Anca Doblaru (University of Bucharest)
- Professor Dr. Laura Citaru (Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures)
- Professor Dr. Ioan Mălică (Faculty of Letters, “Al. I. Cuza” University)
The dissertation discussed Wh-words (Interrogative words) in English and the Iraqi Dialect. The dissertation was approved with a grade of Very Good.
