English Department Organizes Academic Visit to Mosul Heritage House
Mosul University’s English Department Connects Students with Cultural Heritage
The Department of English at the College of Arts, University of Mosul, organized an academic visit to the Mosul Heritage House (Beit Al-Turath Al-Mawsili) on Thursday, December 4, 2025.
The visit included a number of the department’s faculty members and students, and was conducted as part of the academic and cultural activities that aim to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
The primary goal of the visit was to introduce students to the civilizational heritage of the city of Mosul and to enhance their cultural awareness and sense of national belonging. Furthermore, it aimed to support their skills in description and analysis in the English language through direct interaction with the heritage exhibits and the cultural environment of the location.
