Mosul University’s English Department Explores Modern Research Directions
The Department of English, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit, held a scientific seminar titled “Contemporary Trends in Linguistics and Literature” on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, in the department’s hall. The event saw the participation of a number of the department’s faculty members.
The seminar aimed to highlight the most prominent modern trends in the fields of Linguistics and Literature, enhance students’ awareness of cognitive developments, and develop their skills in critical thinking and scientific research.
The event witnessed significant interaction from the attendees through interventions and scientific discussions, which contributed to enriching the topic and achieving the seminar’s objectives.
