Master’s Thesis Defense: Education in Tel Keppe District (1969-2014)
The Department of History at the College of Arts hosted the defense of a Master’s thesis titled “Education in Tel Keppe District, 1969-2014” on Monday, December 8, 2025. The session was partially attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Hatem Fahd Al-Tai, the Head of the Department, Dr. Mahmoud Salih Saeed, and several faculty members.
The study, presented by the student Abdullah Jasim Rashid Hassan Al Shamam in the History Department, aimed to clarify the reality of education within the Tel Keppe District from 1969 to 2014. It specifically investigated the educational levels across the district’s Education Department, its sub-districts, towns, and villages, and detailed the essential tasks and educational responsibilities undertaken by the Tel Keppe Education Department.
The Study’s Objectives:
The research sought to emphasize the importance of education in Tel Keppe District and its affiliated sub-districts, identify the causes of its flourishing and development, and highlight the major obstacles it faced during the period from 1969 to 2014.
