College of Arts Discusses Horizons of Humanities and Social Sciences in the Era of AI at International Conference

The University of Mosul has launched the 12th International Scientific Conference of the College of Arts, titled “Humanistic and Social Studies in the Era of Artificial Intelligence: Toward Achieving Sustainable Development Goals.”

The event is held under the supervision of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and with the follow-up of the Dean of the College of Arts, Prof. Dr. Hatem Fahd Hanoo Al-Taie. The conference is scheduled to run for two days, December 17 and 18, 2025.

Key Participants and Objectives

The conference features broad academic participation, including:

  • Prof. Dr. Badi’ Ali Ahmed, President of Al-Hadba University.

  • Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Özcoşar, Rector of Mardin Artuklu University, Turkey.

  • A distinguished group of researchers and specialists from both inside and outside Iraq.

The primary goal of the gathering is to discuss the evolving role of the humanities and social sciences in keeping pace with the transformations imposed by Artificial Intelligence and the requirements of sustainable development.
