Faculty of Arts Hosts Seminar on Cyber Extortion and Its Impact on Students
The Women’s Affairs Committee at the Faculty of Arts, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit and the Women’s Affairs Unit at the University of Mosul’s Presidency, organized a scientific seminar titled “Cyber Extortion and Its Repercussions on Students.”
The seminar’s core themes were presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Enas Mohammed Aziz (Women’s Affairs Liaison), Assistant Professor Dr. Basima Fares Mohammed, and Assistant Professor Dr. Nibal Fawzi Mahmoud. The speakers explored the various dimensions of cyber extortion and its profound social and psychological risks.
The sessions highlighted essential prevention strategies and awareness-raising methods designed to protect students and enhance digital literacy within the university environment.
