The Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Unit, in collaboration with the Technological Incubator Unit and the Department of Sociology, organized a workshop titled “Cooperation Between Community Police and Citizens in Combating Emerging Crimes” on Thursday, December 16, 2025.

The workshop featured contributions from specialized experts, including Colonel Khalid Mukhlif Suwaid and Colonel Omar Ahmed Sultan, alongside a group of prominent academics from the Faculty of Arts. The primary objective of the session was to strengthen cooperation mechanisms with the Community Police and to empower students as opinion leaders in addressing social issues. Furthermore, the workshop introduced graduates from the Department of Sociology to career opportunities within the Community Police force.

This initiative reflects the commitment of the University of Mosul and the Faculty of Arts to supporting their graduates and expanding their professional horizons and career prospects.
