College of Arts

Vision:
The college has ambitions to occupy privileged position at the Iraqi and the Arab World levels in the fields of education, and diffusing knowledge and information. It also tries to extend its services to the whole community.
Message:
The college is highly interested in providing advanced programs in a variety of areas of knowledge in humanities that conformed to scientific criteria, in order to qualify graduates for participating effectively in promoting their society scientifically, socially and economically by producing research papers, and giving technical Consultancies, and in the hope of improving performances of the society’s establishments. It also tried to exhort graduates to adhere to spiritual, ethical and professional values, in addition to supporting human rights.

Objectives:

1-Integrate the infrastructure to boost sober scientific research.

2-Encouraging the publication of research papers at the Arab and world levels.

3-Developing undergraduate and postgraduate programs according to qualitative principles and international credentials.

4-Developing scientific and intellectual creativity among teachers and students, in addition to enhancing the behavior of sober scientific research.

5 Activating non-classroom activities and volunteer work among students to build active, commanding characters in society.

6-Strengthen the cooperation between the College of Arts and the other academic institutions, on the one hand, and the civil society organizations and the government facilities in Iraq, on the other hand, to produce information that could participate in developing and solving their problems.

7-Enhancing the building of a national culture that depends on democratic dialogue and peaceful coexistence, and achieves social security.
