• May 20: A student dialogue session between students from the Department of Translation and English Language.
• May 15: An interactive lecture on Google Meet titled “Uprooted Identities and Translation.”
• May 13: Honoring of Professor Dr. Yasser Younis Abdulwahed by the Academicians Syndicate.
• May 4: Participation of a group of Translation Department faculty members in the “Future Paths of Translation and Linguistics” conference held at Al-Noor University.

• April 30: A field visit by Translation Department faculty and students to the Grand Al-Nuri Mosque.
• April 23: Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Waleed participated in a scientific conference at Wasit University.
• April 20: A workshop titled “Smart Solutions: Tools for Translators and Interpreters.”
• April 16: Performance of the joint examination between the University of Mosul and Al-Noor University.
• April 16: An online lecture by Professor Julian House titled “Translation as a Means of Communication Between Languages and Cultures.”
• April 13: Department professors and students visited the Orphanage.

• March 24: Discussion of a PhD dissertation by student Omar Dawood Omar.
• March 19: Participation in the National Tree Planting Campaign.
• March 12: Department professors and students visited the Elderly Care Home.
• March 9: A scientific symposium titled “Language, Culture, and Translation.”

• February 25: Discussion of a Master’s thesis by student Aya Ali Hassan.
• February 25: Discussion of a PhD dissertation by student Saba Jassim Mohammed.
• February 12: A student activity and cultural collaboration: a dialogue program between students from the Translation Department and the University of California, USA.
• February 12: A workshop titled “Teaching Translation Does Not Mean Translating” by Professor Dr. Abdulrahman Ahmed Abdulrahman.
• February 10: Discussion of a Master’s thesis by student Hala Khalid Mohammed.
• February 5: An awareness workshop on drugs and their negative effects on individuals and society.
• February 5: A field visit by department faculty and students to the Central Library.

• January 29: Dr. Hala Khalid Najm, Head of the Translation Department, was selected as a member of the scientific committee for a scientific conference.
• January 20: Joint scientific cooperation between the Translation Departments at the University of Mosul and Al-Noor University.

December

• December 17: A workshop on the requirements of the performance evaluation form by Dr. Alaa Ahmed Hassan.
• December 6: International cooperation for Translation Department students with students from the University of Pennsylvania, USA, through the Global Dialogue Program.
• December 4: A student conference on “Conflict in Modern Iraqi History” between students from the University of Mosul and the University of North Carolina.
• December 2: A scientific symposium titled “Artificial Intelligence and Translation.”

November

• November 30: A development course in English Language and Translation.
• November 20: Dr. Hala Khalid Najm, Head of the Translation Department, became a member of the scientific committee at Z Pro International Publishing and Distribution Company.
• November 17: Translation Department faculty and students visited the Mosul Heritage House.
• November 17: Students and the instructor of the Audiovisual Translation course translated a film.
• November 14: A dialogue between Translation Department students and students from the University of Pennsylvania, USA, as part of the Global Dialogue Program.
• November 3: Translation Department professors and students visited the Central Library.

• October 22: Discussion of a Master’s thesis by student Rusul Luay Saeed.
