Vision, Mission and Objects-Dept. of Turkish Language
Vision:
To make the Department of Turkish Language a leading center in teaching the Turkish language and culture, contributing to building bridges of cultural and civilizational communication between peoples, as well as enhancing specialized scientific and academic research in the Turkish language and literature. The department aims to present a true image of itself and subsequently serve the community and elevate the country in accordance with the required visions.
Message:
To provide distinguished education in the Turkish language based on modern academic standards that enhance students’ understanding of Turkish culture and history to support cultural dialogue among different cultures. The department works to keep pace with global developments by artificial intelligence and organizing scientific conferences, seminars, and workshops, staying updated with the latest developments, and offering modern programs in learning the Turkish language.
Objectives:
- To prepare graduates proficient in the basic skills of the Turkish language (listening, reading, writing, and speaking).
- To enhance students’ cultural and civilizational knowledge about Turkey and Turkish-speaking communities.
- To provide comprehensive educational programs that combine theoretical and practical aspects of learning the Turkish language.
- To cooperate with internal and external academic and research institutions to develop educational curricula.
- To continuously improve the study curricula at the undergraduate level in line with contemporary knowledge, methodological, and technical innovations.
- To participate in community service through continuous direct interaction with official institutions, providing scientific consultations, and enhancing continuing education programs in the field of the Turkish language.
- Emphasis on clean energy and sustainable development within the educational process.
