A Master’s thesis at the Department of Sociology, College of Arts, University of Mosul, on: (Social factors affecting the status of the teacher – a field study in Sharqat District).

The Department of Sociology at the College of Arts discussed the master’s thesis entitled: (Social factors affecting the status of the teacher – a field study in Sharqat District), on Sunday, October 27th, 2024, with the attendance of a number of the faculty members and postgraduate students. The study, presented by Khalifa Aziz Khalifa, dealt with the subject of the status of the teacher from a social perspective and the impact of a number of social and economic factors, official and unofficial institutional, value, normative and developmental. In addition to the personality in the growth and elevation of the status of the teacher in society. Perhaps the most important of these is the level of cultural awareness of society and the extent to which this society and its members appreciate the importance of the role of the teacher. In addition to the role of empowering the teacher by involving him in training courses and paying attention to his opinions and suggestions regarding educational issues. And providing an appropriate physical and social work environment. The researcher chose Sharqat District as a field location to conduct his study.
