The Department of English at the College of Arts, University of Mosul, was established in 1969, making it one of the earliest departments that contributed to the dissemination of knowledge and the promotion of cultural dialogue through language, literature, and translation education. The department has played a significant role in preparing qualified professionals who contribute to the fields of education, culture, and media.
The department focuses on supporting sustainable development by enhancing education and research, while also promoting peaceful coexistence through cultural openness.
